Sometimes I wonder we plan so much ahead of time, we think about our future. Our everyday actions are steps toward our future. I hear people saying all the time ‘ Live in the moment‘, but the first question that pops into my head is Do we actually do this? Do we enjoy each moment as it is? Are our actions at the moment? The answer I always get is NO, we over-analyze everything before doing it. We keep procrastinating our vacations or doing something because we are not yet stable or we haven't reached the zenith of our career or some mile marker that we have set for ourselves, which when achieved will able u to do something that we really want.

I feel the time is never right for anything, we should just seize the opportunity and go for it.

Sometimes we need to let go of the vision we have for our life and make most of the opportunities that life puts in our lap.

“If you are living your life exactly the same way you thought when you were a kid, believe me, you have not experienced the life yet.”
― Anupam S Shlok

We always want to strive for more which is good and much needed for growth but we shouldn’t let that stop us from enjoying life as it is. We should enjoy the small moments, share that joy, celebrate the achievements we have along the way to our goal. Life is nothing but a series of those moments and memories that we will remember when we look back.

I am that person who really loves planning ahead and has a sketch of what the future should hold, I love to have a vision and I try my best to achieve that because I have recently learned that is all I can do. I can try my best but the outcome isn’t in my hand. So, what I am trying to say or advise is Live in this very moment, cherish that kiss, that laughter, that feeling of belonging, that friendship, the love, and affection of your loved ones because that is what life is about — your life is what you make of it. So stop playing by the books, there are no rules — Just live and let live.
